Laboratory Wastewater Collection and Treatment System - Process Flow - PLC Intelligent Control System - Quankun Environmental Protection
The laboratory wastewater poses significant hazards. With the expansion of universities and the surge in student numbers, along with economic development and the advancement of scientific research, the volume of chemical laboratory wastewater is increasing. Many laboratories discharge untreated wastewater directly into the sewers. Given the complex composition of experimental wastewater, which contains a high amount of acids, alkalis, hexavalent chromium, phenols, and other harmful substances, direct discharge is bound to pollute the potable water and living environment. It is urgently necessary to find an economic, efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment process for chemical laboratories.

Product Features:
1. Treat wastewater inorganic pollutants with neutralization coagulation, natural sedimentation, fiber fine filtration, and activated carbon adsorption technologies.
2. Features around-the-clock, fully automatic operation; no need for dedicated staff supervision.
3. Utilize a pH meter and imported metering pump for precise dosing control.
4. Easy to operate, stable performance, long service life, and low maintenance costs.
5. Compact space requirement; can be installed indoors or outdoors as needed.
6. Tailored design and manufacturing services are available to meet diverse customer requirements.

Application Scope:
Our Laboratory Waste Treatment Machine is a new device developed based on our extensive experience in treating organic wastewater over the years. Designed for compact laboratory spaces with low wastewater flow, this machine employs a combined treatment process of neutralization, multi-stage filtration, and sterilization. It boasts features such as a small size, low noise, no secondary pollution, no release of irritating gases, and easy installation and maintenance. It is widely used in research institutions, college and university chemistry laboratories, petrochemical enterprises, and various quarantine and inspection departments.

General Principles for Laboratory Treatment of Wastewater:
1. When waste has become sufficiently scarce and safe, it can be released into the atmosphere or drainage; strive to concentrate the liquid waste to reduce volume and store it in a secure, isolated location; use methods like distillation, filtration, and adsorption to separate hazardous materials, discarding only the safe portions; regardless of liquid or solid, anything that can be safely burned should be, but in moderate quantities to avoid residual harmful gases or ash; if incineration is not possible, choose a safe site for burial, ensuring it is not left exposed on the ground.
2. Generally, toxic gases can be exhausted by fume hoods or ventilation ducts after being diluted by air. Large quantities of toxic gases must be burned with oxygen or treated by adsorption before they can be discharged.
3. Wastewater should be stored in appropriate containers and locations based on its chemical properties. It must be stored in sealed containers, not mixed with other substances, and clearly labeled with the type, storage duration, and scheduled for regular disposal.

Process Description:
Wastewater is collected and homogenized in a collection tank before flowing into a neutralization reaction tank. Quantitative acid (or alkali) solutions are added based on the water quality properties to neutralize the wastewater. The neutralized wastewater is then pumped to a filter tank for filtration. During this process, a定量 of净水剂solution is also added to promote flocculation of pollutants in the wastewater, enhancing filtration efficiency. The filtered clean water is then disinfected by an ozone sterilizer and flows into a biological activated carbon tank, where fine pollutants are further intercepted and adsorbed. The treated clean water is then directly discharged into the city's sewage network.

Laboratory wastewater treatment equipment process flow:
Neutralizing Unit: Add NaOH to the wastewater to adjust the pH level to 8.5-9.2, causing some ions in the wastewater to react with sodium hydroxide and form precipitates, thereby removing heavy metal ions.
Coagulation Sedimentation Tank: By adding a certain amount of CJI water treatment agent, the wastewater generates a large amount of coagulated flocs, which, after sedimentation, reduces the workload of subsequent processes and enhances the removal rates of COD and suspended solids.
Filtering Device: Utilizes a quartz sand-filled layer to intercept and remove un-separated suspended particles and other fine substances; features timed backflushing to ensure consistent filtering efficiency.
Activated Carbon Decolorization Unit: Further deep treatment using the adsorption capacity of activated carbon to remove color and odor from water. Ensures the outflow meets standards.
Ozone Generators (Disinfection): For disinfection purposes, such as E. coli and Salmonella, ozone generators can be used to treat the pathogens.
