Beryllium nickel copper is an oversaturated solid solution copper-based alloy, a nonferrous metal with a combination of excellent mechanical, physical, chemical, and corrosion-resistant properties.
After solution heat treatment and aging, it boasts high strength limits, elastic limits, yield limits, and fatigue limits comparable to special steels; it also features high conductivity, thermal conductivity, hardness, wear resistance, creep resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Widely used in manufacturing various mold inserts, replacing steel for high-precision, complex-shaped mold welding electrode materials, die casting machines, injection molding punches, and wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant workpieces.
