Beryllium nickel copper is an oversaturated solid solution copper-based alloy, a non-ferrous alloy with a good combination of mechanical, physical, chemical, and corrosion-resistant properties.
After solution heat treatment and aging, it possesses high ultimate strength, elastic limit, yield strength, and fatigue limit comparable to special steels; it also features high conductivity, thermal conductivity, hardness, wear resistance, creep resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Widely used in manufacturing various mold inserts, replacing steel for high-precision, complex-shaped mold welding electrode materials, die casting machines, injection molding punch heads, and wear and corrosion-resistant work.
