Beryllium nickel copper is an oversaturated solid solution copper-based alloy, a nonferrous metal with an excellent combination of mechanical, physical, chemical, and corrosion-resistant properties.
After solution heat treatment and aging, it exhibits high strength limits, elastic limits, yield limits, and fatigue limits comparable to special steels; it also boasts high conductivity, thermal conductivity, high hardness, wear resistance, excellent creep resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Widely used in manufacturing various mold inserts, replacing steel for high-precision, complex-shaped mold welding electrode materials, die casting machines, injection molding punch heads, and wear and corrosion-resistant work.
