Generator set parallel operation scheme classification:

1. Manual and Parallel Operation: Utilizes lighting or synchronization gauge for indication, this method is commonly used in older diesel generator sets with mechanical speed regulation.

2. Semi-Automatic Parallel Operation: Automatic paralleling, manual de-parallelizing, commonly used for primary or backup power in factories.

3. Automatic Parallel Operation: In case of power outage, automatically start 2 or more generator sets, supply power to the load after parallel operation, automatically disconnect when main power is restored, and the generator sets will automatically shut down. Generally used as backup power supply for buildings.

4. Peak Load Synchronization (Fully Automatic Synchronization): Based on the automatic synchronization, it completes the automatic connection and synchronization of multiple units, as well as the automatic disconnection and shutdown of the units, according to the changes in load size.

5. Three Remote Control & Parallel System: A parallel system utilizing a dedicated single-chip microcomputer system to facilitate communication and connection between the parallel cabinet and the generator set with a PC.

The process of paralleling and derating for generator sets during normal operation:

1. Set all selections on the operation screen to "Automatic," keeping the generator set in an automatic standby state.

2. In the event of a power grid failure and once the delay is confirmed, the 1# generator set (main set) commences to start up.

3. The generator set will close the circuit 10 seconds (preset value, can be set arbitrarily) after normal operation, with the power supply directly connecting to the busbar.

4. Once the load of Generator Set 1 reaches 70% of its rated power (can be set), Control Cabinet 1 sends an automatic start signal to Generator Set 2, at which point Generator Set 2 begins to start up. The synchronization module will automatically detect the synchronization status of Generator Set 1 and Generator Set 2. When they are synchronized, the circuit breaker of Generator Set 2 closes, and the unit is fully connected to the grid.

5. As the grid load gradually decreases, the unit can disconnect the excess generating sets from the grid based on the actual load conditions, thereby shutting down and cooling off. If after some sets are disconnected the actual load suddenly increases, the control system will detect the increase in load. When the load increase reaches 70% (configurable) of the operating unit's load, the system will automatically start the next unit, connect it in parallel, and put it into service.

6. Upon the restoration of the municipal power grid, after a delayed confirmation, the generator load air circuit breaker is opened, allowing the generator set to continue running unloaded for a period (settable to 3 minutes) to cool down the equipment. After 3 minutes, the generator set will be shut down, and all generator sets will return to standby mode.

7. When the unit automatically synchronizes with the network, the time delay should not exceed 3 seconds.
