Low-noise diesel generators are machines commonly used as backup power sources, suitable for a variety of environmental conditions. Diesel generator sets can be installed indoors or outdoors, and certain considerations and precautions must be taken during installation.

Ensure the installation location has good ventilation. The generator end should have sufficient intake air, and the diesel engine end should have a good exhaust outlet.
The installation area should be kept clean and free from items that produce corrosive gases and vapors, such as acidic or alkaline substances, near the vicinity.
3. When using indoors, the exhaust pipe must be routed to the outside, with a diameter of at least equal to the exhaust pipe diameter of the silencer. The bends in the connected pipe should not exceed three to ensure smooth exhaust flow, and the pipe should be inclined downward by 5-10 degrees to prevent rainwater from entering. If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upwards, a rain shield must be added.
4. The casing of the generator set must have a reliable protective grounding. For generators that require a direct neutral grounding, professional personnel must perform the neutral grounding, and lightning protection devices must be installed. It is strictly prohibited to use the grounding system of the municipal power supply for direct neutral grounding.
5. The bidirectional switch between generators and municipal power must be extremely reliable to prevent reverse power supply. The wiring reliability of the bidirectional switch must pass inspection and approval by the local power supply department.
That concludes our introduction on key points to consider when installing low-noise diesel generators. We hope everyone adheres to proper procedures during the installation process to ensure the generators are smoothly integrated into use.
