Cautionary Notes:
Vacuum pump oil has a shelf life of up to 3-5 years under sealed conditions; unopened, it is guaranteed for 3 months.
After the initial 500 hours of use, replace the pump oil. Thereafter, change the oil every 1000-1500 hours of operation. (Note: In harsh operating environments, observe the pump oil color regularly.)
Check the oil level gauge; when the oil changes from amber-brown to black or turns milky white, it's time to replace the vacuum pump oil.
Selecting the appropriate vacuum pump oil will greatly benefit the pump's ultimate differential pressure, ultimate full pressure, startup, power consumption, pump temperature, stability of pump performance, and the service life of the vacuum pump.
Vacuum Pump Oil Change Procedure
1. Unscrew the drain valve using the gravity method, lift the pump housing to allow the old oil in the vacuum pump to automatically flow into the position of the oil drain screw. After draining the old oil completely, inject a small amount of clean vacuum pump oil (100~500mL) into the vacuum pump's oil filling port, flushing the internal cavity. Then, operate the vacuum pump for about 1 minute, turn it off, and discharge the newly injected oil. If the discharged oil is still not clean, continue to inject new oil for flushing until it becomes clean.
Next, unscrew the oil drain valve, remove the oil filling cap from the oil filling hole, pour new vacuum pump oil into the vacuum pump until the oil level reaches the oil gauge line, then re-tighten the filling cap.
