Diesel generator sets, when in operation, not only produce a large amount of hot gas but also emit a significant amount of exhaust fumes. The particulate matter in the exhaust, along with the carbon deposits from uneven combustion, inevitably lead to environmental pollution. The main method for treating generator exhaust is through water spray or alkaline water spray. When the gas substances consist only of particulate matter without other components, water spray is used; however, for exhaust gases like those from generator tailpipes or boiler emissions, alkaline water spray is required.
