Structural steel multi-story buildings, compared to traditional concrete structures, use steel plates or sections instead of reinforced concrete, offering higher strength and better seismic resistance. Moreover, due to the prefabrication of components, on-site assembly is streamlined, significantly reducing construction time. The recyclability of steel greatly reduces construction waste, making it more environmentally friendly, and thus widely adopted globally for both industrial and residential buildings.
The application of multi-story steel structural buildings in high-rise and ultra-high-rise structures is increasingly mature, gradually becoming the mainstream construction technique, and is the future development direction of architecture.
