I. Overview of Xenon Lamps Aging Test Chamber:

Dongguan Hongjun Instrument & Equipment Co., Ltd.'s HJ/CQ Series Xenon Lamps Aging Test is a comprehensive climatic test device. In addition to climate aging tests, it can also conduct tests on the refractive index resistance of high-performance materials. This involves evaluating the material's resistance to refractive index changes by exposing high polymer materials to artificial light sources simulating sunlight passing through glass. The test simulates and intensifies the main climatic factors such as light energy, temperature, rainfall or dew, and humidity. It uses a xenon arc lamp capable of simulating the full sunlight spectrum to reproduce destructive light waves present in different environments. The Xenon Lamps Climatic Test Chamber provides environmental simulation and accelerated tests for scientific research, product development, and quality control. It can be used for tests such as selecting new materials, improving existing materials, or assessing the durability changes after material composition changes. It is suitable for plastics, rubbers, paints, coatings, inks, papers, food, textiles, automotive parts, packaging materials, construction materials, electronic electrical products, and more.

The xenon lamp test chamber employs a xenon arc lamp capable of simulating the full solar spectrum to replicate destructive light waves present in various environments, providing environmental simulation and accelerated testing for research, product development, and quality control.

The SN Xenon Lamps Test Chamber is used for selecting new materials, improving existing materials, or evaluating changes in material durability after composition changes, etc. It can effectively simulate the changes in materials exposed to sunlight under different environmental conditions.

Simulate full sunlight spectrum:

SN measures the material's resistance to photochromism by exposing it to ultraviolet (UV), visible light, and infrared light. It uses filtered xenon arc lamps to produce a full-spectrum sunlight that closely matches natural sunlight. The use of properly filtered xenon arc lamps is a method to test the product's sensitivity to longer wavelengths of UV and visible light in direct sunlight or sunlight passing through glass.

Optical Rotation Resistance Test for Indoor Materials

Due to prolonged exposure to fluorescent, halogen, or other lighting sources, products placed in retail points, warehouses, or other environments also undergo significant photo-degradation. The SN Xenon Light Test Chamber can simulate the destructive light in such commercial lighting environments and can accelerate the testing process with higher intensity.

Simulated Climate Environment:

In addition to the photodegradation test, the SN Xenon Lamps Test Chamber can be converted into a climate aging test chamber by adding a water spray option, simulating the effect of outdoor humidity on materials.

Relative Humidity Control

Some models of the SN Xenon lamp test chamber offer relative humidity control functionality, which is crucial for many moisture-sensitive materials. Moreover, many testing protocols also require humidity control.

Section VI: Structural Components of the Xenon Lamps Aging Test Chamber

The Xenon lamp climate test chamber is composed of the following parts: the test chamber body, control system, refrigeration/dehumidification system, heating system, humidification system, air duct system, rain system, and lighting system.

Test Chamber Housing:

The test chamber features an integrated structure, with the left upper section serving as the work area, the right upper section as the electrical control room, and the lower section housing the refrigeration unit with a compressor. It includes a mechanical speed device for the sample frame, an Xenon lamp condensate water tank, a pump, and various other actuating devices. The electrical control cabinet is located on the right side of the test chamber for easy operation.

The interior walls of the test box are all made of internationally standardized SUS304# stainless steel plate.

The insulation material for the box is made of polyurethane foam and fine glass fiber, offering excellent thermal insulation. The exterior surface of the test box does not frost over or condense moisture.

The container bottom is equipped with a condensate drain outlet.

The door frames are sealed with environmentally friendly silicone rubber strips that can withstand extreme temperatures for long periods.

The front of the box is equipped with a glass observation window, covered with a protective film to shield the eyes from Xenon lamp radiation.

Outer Carton:

The outer casing is precision-machined using CNC machinery, with the exterior shell made from cold-rolled steel plate, which is then treated with acid pickling and phosphatization before being electrostatically powder-coated.

Doors and door latches:

The box door is sealed with double-layer refined silicone rubber, ensuring no aging or hardening at high or low temperatures, providing a more reliable sealing performance.

The test box features a single-door design (with an integrated door handle).

The box door features an observation window, frost prevention device, and a switchable lighting system.

Section 8: Xenon Lamps Aging Test Chamber - Working Section:

Compressor Condenser Section:

※Refrigeration System: The core of the refrigeration system is the compressor. In this solution, we use 1 full hermetically sealed compressor from France Tai Kang, ensuring the cooling requirements of the workroom.

The refrigeration system design incorporates energy regulation technology, a practical approach that ensures both the normal operation of the refrigeration unit and the adjustment of energy consumption and cooling capacity. This results in reduced operational costs and lower failure rates, leading to a more economical state for the refrigeration system.

The refrigeration evaporator is located within the air duct sandwich at one end of the test chamber, and is forced ventilated by a blower motor for rapid heat exchange.

※Cooling Method of Refrigeration System: Forced Air Cooling

Refrigerant: R404a; (Environmentally Friendly Refrigerant)

Heating Section:

Heating method: Direct heating inside the test chamber.

* Utilizes stainless steel finned heating tubes for stable heating rates, ensuring the internal temperature of the box remains consistent without sharp fluctuations. Features include corrosion resistance, ability to withstand high and low temperatures, no leakage, and easy installation.

SSR (Solid State Relay) output control, featuring noiseless operation, reliable performance, long lifespan, strong anti-interference capability, fast switching speed, minimal external interference, and ease of use.

Raining System

The rain system is mainly composed of nozzles, solenoid valves, water supply sources, and connecting hoses.

Lighting System:

The lighting system is primarily composed of xenon lamp tubes, lampshades, xenon lamp triggers, and various control devices. Energy compensation for the xenon lamps is achieved by adjusting the distance of the mounting frame and regulating the voltage and current.

Air Duct System

The duct system is located in the cavity at the rear of the test chamber, housing devices such as heaters, fan blades, evaporators, and PT100 temperature sampling sensors. As the fan rotates at high speed, it draws air from the top of the workspace into the duct, where it is thoroughly mixed with the heat from the heater and the coolness from the evaporator before being blown out from the bottom. The air that has exchanged heat with the test item in the workspace is then drawn back into the duct for mixing; this cycle repeats to achieve the target temperature, while also ensuring the test chamber maintains high humidity and temperature levels.

Cooling and Dehumidification System:

※选用 France's "Tecumseh" fully enclosed industrial refrigeration compressor. Primarily used for cooling Xenon lamp tubes and maintaining a constant indoor temperature and humidity level in the workroom.

Humidifier Section:

Steam Generator: Equipment for producing steam by vaporizing water.

Water Level Control: Electromagnetic valve controls water intake, level switch controls water level, providing signals for humidifier water addition and alarm.

Gas Recirculation Section:

* Internally equipped with a circulating air duct and a fan, utilizing an efficient refrigeration unit and energy regulation system. It achieves effective heat exchange through high-efficiency fans to achieve temperature variation goals. By improving the air's blowing flow, it enhances air flow, heating and humidifying, as well as the heat exchange capacity of the air cooler. Through the adjustable air damper at the exhaust port, it significantly improves the uniformity of temperature and humidity within the test chamber.
