How to Choose the Humidity for a Temperature and Humidity Control Chamber?

Please note the following considerations when selecting the humidity range for a temperature and humidity control chamber:

1. Generally, ordinary constant temperature and humidity cabinets with a capacity of 3m3 or less can meet the requirements for Zone A. The dehumidification method in Zone A is water tray dehumidification, with some manufacturers using evaporator dehumidification. The humidification method is all hot steam humidification (water tray humidification/boiler humidification), and humidity sensors can utilize dry-wet bulb methods.

2. The walk-in constant temperature and humidity test chamber with modular assembly must be fully welded when the dew point temperature is ≥67℃ (70℃ with 90% R.H.). The initial investment cost will be higher, so if there are no special requirements for the product, you can choose a dew point temperature of <67℃ to reduce costs. For large walk-in chambers where it is inconvenient to replace felt, it is recommended to use capacitive sensors.

3. In the B area, the dew point temperature is around 0°C. It is essential to use a dehumidifier, as the evaporator tends to frost over. Therefore, it is not recommended to maintain a constant presence in this area. For the wet bulb sensors in this region, capacitive sensors must be used.

4. The dew point temperature in Area C is lower; it is imperative to use dry air for dehumidification. The dew point temperature of dry air can reach as low as -70°C, and capacitive sensors must be used for wet bulb temperature measurement.

Ensure to use deionized water or distilled water for humidifying purposes.

6. The wet-bulb wick of a dry-wet bulb sensor should be replaced regularly.

7. Large恒温恒湿试验箱 consumes a significant amount of water, we recommend selecting an automatic water refilling option; Walk-in or three-in-one test chambers, due to the inconvenience of water refilling, are also recommended to have an automatic water refilling feature.
