Laundry Tips: The Art of Cleaning Linens

The general process in laundry factories consists of sorting, pre-washing, main washing, rinsing, and drying. Under the same process, the differences in washing effectiveness exist due to varying settings of washing parameters.

Proper Sorting

Before washing, we should categorize the linen based on color and soiling conditions to prevent color bleeding and staining, as well as to facilitate sorting and distribution. For instance, we can collect and wash items of the same color together, and also separate heavily soiled linens with oil stains and other contaminants for enhanced care and focused washing.

● Wash Parameters Setting

Load industrial washing machines to their rated capacity (typically 80% of their capacity), and then proceed to set various washing parameters, including water level, water temperature, wash time, cycles, rinse time, and spin time, tailored to specific washing requirements.

Operators can pour the appropriate amounts of main detergent, grease emulsifier, color bleach powder, and other detergents into the designated compartments of the industrial washing machine's soap dispenser. Once all preparations are complete, pressing the start button will initiate the washing cycle. The industrial washing machine will then proceed through the pre-wash, main wash, rinse, and spin-dry stages according to the pre-set washing program, until the entire cycle is finished and an alert sound is emitted.

Drying, folding, and packaging

Washed linen should be promptly dried; place the linens in the dryer for drying, with the temperature typically set between 70-90 degrees Celsius.

After removing the dried linen, it should be folded promptly, usually with the marked side facing the same direction, to achieve softness and comfort without any dampness or loose threads. Any linen with tears or stains should be promptly sorted out for separate treatment.

The products are packed according to customer specifications or in sets of 10 or 50, then transported to the linen storage room.
