Don't just focus on product design and neglect plastic mold manufacturing.
Some users, when developing products or new product prototypes, often initially focus solely on product research and development, neglecting communication with plastic mold manufacturers. There are two benefits to contacting mold manufacturers early after the preliminary design of the product is determined:

Don't just focus on price; consider quality, lead time, and service from multiple angles.
1. There are many types of molds, which can be roughly divided into ten categories. Different mold forming types are selected based on various requirements such as material of parts, physical and chemical properties, mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, service life, and cost-effectiveness.
2. High-precision molds require machining on high-precision CNC machines, and there are strict requirements for mold material and forming processes. CAD/CAE/CAM mold technology is also needed for design and analysis.

7. There can be significant price differences for the same mold from different manufacturers. You should not pay more than the mold's value, nor should you pay less than its cost.
