Plastic toys are a type of toy that are particularly suitable for younger children, compared to toys made from other materials.
The primary component of plastic toys is resin.
2. The raw material for plastic toys: It is made primarily of high molecular weight synthetic resins (polymers) mixed with various auxiliary materials or additives. Under specific temperatures and pressures, it possesses plasticity and fluidity, allowing it to be molded into a certain shape and maintain its shape under certain conditions.
3. Polymer: Refers to the pure material or polymer material produced by the polymerization process. Both natural resins and synthetic resins are high molecular compounds, abbreviated as polymers.
4. Plastics offer excellent insulation against electricity, heat, and sound: featuring good electrical insulation, arc resistance, thermal insulation, noise insulation, sound absorption, vibration absorption, and noise reduction properties.
Plastic toy raw materials are mainly extracted from various oils. Commonly, PC material is derived from crude oil, emitting a gasoline-like smell when burned; ABS, extracted from coal, leaves a soot-like residue upon extinguishing; POM emits a very unpleasant gas odor upon combustion.
