Introduction to the Selection of Blowing Molding Dies

Don't solely focus on product design and neglect the plastic mold manufacturing.
Some users, during product development or the trial production of new products, often only focus on product research and development initially, neglecting communication with plastic mold manufacturers. There are two benefits to contacting mold manufacturers early after the preliminary design of the product is determined:

Don't just focus on price; consider quality, lead time, and service from multiple angles.
1. There are many types of molds, generally divided into ten categories. Selection of mold forming is based on different requirements such as material of parts, physical and chemical properties, mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, service life, and economy.
2. High-precision molds require machining on high-precision CNC machines, with strict requirements for mold material and forming processes. CAD/CAE/CAM mold technology must also be used for design and analysis.
3. Some parts require special molding requirements, necessitating advanced techniques such as hot runner molds, gas-assisted molding, and nitrogen cylinders.
