    Sanitation vehicles, particularly waste collection trucks, are highly utilized models that we can see bustling year-round. During daily use, drivers might overlook the maintenance of these trucks, leading to minor issues that seem to never go away. As specialized greenery vehicles, the water tanks in waste collection trucks can easily develop rust after long-term exposure to water. How can rust be quickly removed with simple methods?
    1. Utilizing High-Pressure Water for Rust Removal: The ultra-high-pressure water jet machine is used to clean the interior walls of waste collection trucks' water tanks. After a few minutes, simply rinse with water. This method effectively removes various chemical impurities from the tank walls and metal surfaces without damaging the original steel plate. It allows for the detection of all pitting and corrosion hazards on the cleaned tank walls, ensuring the quality grade of the rust removal for waste collection truck water tanks. This method quickly penetrates, strips, and dissolves scale, rust stains, and other mineral deposits, effectively combating corrosion on metals like steel and copper, with no impact on most painted surfaces.
    2. Sandblasting for Rust Removal in Water Tanks: In addition to high-pressure rust removal, sandblasting is also a commonly used method for rust removal in the water tanks of domestic waste collection vehicles. Sandblasting does require specialized equipment, but this method yields excellent results and high quality, effectively removing rust spots from the interior of the tank. However, after rust removal, a large amount of dust is produced, which can contaminate the environment, posing a significant issue.
    3. Tank Interior Recirculation Cleaning Method: For small-tonnage waste collection vehicles, such as the 5-ton Dolika waste collection vehicle, a small amount of specialized paint stripping agent should be added to the water tank based on the total capacity of the water tank. This allows for penetration and swelling action, detaching the old coating from the tank wall. Soak for approximately 30 minutes, then continue the recirculation for about 2 hours, ensuring the pH value remains between 1.5±0.2. Afterward, remove the cleaning fluid. Rinse the small waste collection vehicle water tank with clean water, followed by acid washing with a rust remover (mainly hydrochloric acid and corrosion inhibitors) for about 15 minutes. After rust removal, the tank should be passivated for at least 4 hours before repainting.
    Be sure to take personal safety precautions when rust removing the tank of waste collection vehicles, as not to lose the forest for the trees. Avoid any contact with chemical agents when using them for rust removal on the water tank.
