I. Product Overview

The MGG/KL-S series ultrasonic flow meters are a new product launched by Kaifeng Kai Liu Instrument Co., Ltd. to enhance protection reliability, in accordance with the JJG1030-2007 ultrasonic flow meter verification regulation. These meters utilize the ultrasonic time difference principle to measure flow and can measure flow rates in pipes ranging from DN50 to DN3000.

This series features high measurement accuracy, strong anti-interference capability, stable and reliable operation, and rich interfaces. Each component of the flow meter is designed to meet the IP68 protection grade standard, making it suitable for harsh working environments.

  Main Unit:

Principle: Ultrasonic Time-of-Flight Principle, 4-byte IEEE754 Floating Point Calculation

Accuracy: Pipe segment flow meter ±0.5%, external clamp flow meter ±1.0%, insertion flow meter ±1.0%

Operation: Supports 4-key magnetic rod operation or 4-key touch keyboard, simulation keyboard software

Signal Output: 1 channel 4~20mA current output, impedance 0~1K, accuracy 0.1%

Signal Input: 3-channel 4-20mA current input, accuracy 0.1%, capable of collecting temperature, pressure level, and other signals.

Connectable to a three-wire PT100 platinum resistance, enabling flow measurement

Data Interface: Isolated RS485 serial interface, upgradeable via PC for the flow meter, supporting MODBUS and other protocols.

Cable: Custom twisted pair cables, generally limited to 50 meters; with RS485 communication, transmission distance can exceed a kilometer.

Pipe Conditions: Pipes made of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, concrete troughs, copper, PVC, aluminum, fiberglass, and all dense materials; linings are permitted.

Inner Diameter: 50~3000mm

Straight Pipe Section: Sensor installation points better meet: Upstream 10D, Downstream 5D, 30D from pump outlet (D being the diameter)

Measurement Medium: Types: Water, seawater, industrial wastewater, acidic and alkaline liquids, alcohol, beer, various oils, etc., single and uniform liquids capable of transmitting sound waves.

Temperature: -30~160℃

Turbidity: 10,000 ppm with minimal bubble content

Flow Rate: 0~±10 m/s

Work Environment: Temperature: Main unit -20~60℃; Flow sensor -30~160℃

Humidity: The main unit and sensor can operate submerged in water, with a maximum depth of ≤2m (after sealing the wiring with glue)
