I. Overview of Electromagnetic Water Meters

The MGG/KL-DC electromagnetic water meter is specifically designed for the water industry, catering to urban water supply and water resource management systems (RTU), providing information management services, ensuring accurate billing calculations. It is widely used in locations without power supply, such as urban water supply, wastewater treatment, water distribution network metering, and water conservancy projects, across various water resource management sectors.

The MGG/KL-DC electromagnetic water meter employs a specially designed sensor excitation system and a high-performance lithium battery power supply system. It features a 16-bit embedded ultra-micropower processor, full digital signal processing, and boasts stable operation, high measurement accuracy, strong anti-interference capability. It achieves automatic bidirectional flow measurement, real-time flow display, and cumulative total flow in both directions, self-diagnostic fault alarms, RS485 interface, and wireless remote transmission via GSM/GPRS data. Users can achieve wireless remote transmission and storage of flow data through the powerful GSM/GPRS remote monitoring and management software system.

Section 2: Characteristics of Electromagnetic Water Meters

• Low power consumption design, featuring a five-cell 3.6V lithium battery, excitation current ≤20mA, continuous operation for 5 to 10 years without interruption, and easy battery replacement.

• The display features an LCD large-screen backlit liquid crystal display, with a full Chinese menu, automatic bidirectional measurement, and the ability to show parameters such as instantaneous flow rate, velocity, pressure, cumulative total in both directions (with 10 significant digits), battery power, clock, and alarm symbols for various flow-related data.

• The measurement tube has no movable resistance components, thus preventing entanglement and blockage. It experiences minimal pressure loss and can operate reliably and continuously for extended periods.

Wide measurement range: Flow velocity measurement range up to 0~15 m/s.

• High Measurement Accuracy: Grade 1

• Measurement Stability: Measurement accuracy is not affected by changes in physical parameters such as temperature, pressure, viscosity, and density of the medium being measured.

• Features pulse output, RS232/RS485 interfaces, and GPRS wireless data transmission capabilities (supports GSM, WCDMA, and CDMA).

• Easy to tune, operates with non-contact sensing, no need to open the cover.

• Can enable remote parameter setting function;

• Features 8-segment linear correction function;

• Features expandable interfaces for pressure, 4-20mA, and other signals.

• Data Storage Function: Capable of saving 1,000 sets of traffic data, with customizable intervals for data storage and easy data retrieval.

Section 4: GSM/GPRS Remote Monitoring and Management Software System

The GSM/GPRS remote monitoring and management software system, when paired with the MGG/KL-DC electromagnetic water meters featuring long-distance transmission, enables wireless transmission, reception, and storage of water meter data. It also facilitates the statistics and analysis of flow data, allowing users to conveniently and promptly manage water usage, pipeline pressure, and leakage conditions at various flow measurement points within the area. This achieves scientific, information-based, and accurate measurement management. Additionally, it can be integrated with the Water Resource Management System (RTU) to plan long-term water resource development strategies, ensuring rational allocation and efficient utilization of water resources, thereby enhancing economic benefits.

Software Features:

Equipped with data analysis, report export, and dashboard information management functions, it allows for viewing real-time traffic, cumulative forward and reverse volumes, communication voltage, instrument voltage, pressure, flow rate, and alarm information.

This system allows for the querying, statistics, and analysis of water usage at each measurement point, as well as pipeline pressure, which is displayed in the form of charts or curves, enabling convenient management of water usage at various measurement points.

When an abnormal water usage at the measurement point occurs or the battery of the on-site water meter is low, the system can emit an alarm.

By connecting to the system website via computer or mobile phone, users can very conveniently manage data and achieve network data sharing.

Multiple operators and administrators at different levels can be set up to achieve data area management and tiered management.

The system incorporates more people-oriented management features, such as data backup.
