During the assembly of the PP fan housing, align the housing position with the shaft centerline of the rotor, and adjust the axial and radial clearances between the impeller intake and housing intake to the range specified in the equipment technical documents at high speed. Simultaneously, check if the anchor bolts are tightened. If the equipment technical documents do not specify the clearance values, the general axial clearance should be 1/100 of the impeller outer diameter, and the radial clearance should be evenly distributed, with a value of 1.5/1000 to 3/1000 of the impeller outer diameter (the larger value for smaller outer diameters). Strive to reduce the clearance values during adjustment to improve the fan efficiency. When selecting a PP fan, consider the air leakage loss and calculation error of the pipeline system, as well as the negative error of the actual air volume and wind pressure of the centrifugal fan. Generally, a safety factor of 1.05 to 1.1 for air volume and 1.10 to 1.15 for wind pressure should be adopted. However, it's not advisable to use an overly high safety factor to prevent the centrifugal fan from operating in the low-efficiency zone for extended periods.
