Care should be taken to avoid impacts from heavy items like metal tools on the surface, to prevent excessive dents that can affect both functionality and appearance.

In case of long-term non-use, wipe the parallel gauge with a special lubricant. If special lubricant is not available, edible oil can be used as an alternative. After reusing, simply dry it with a soft cloth. When the surface is stained, it is advisable to clean the stains with a mild corrosive agent like lemon juice or vinegar. Avoid using soap or baking soda, as these can damage the marble's texture.
