Inspection Steps for FRP trench grating upon arrival:

1. The trench grates should uniformly indicate specifications, production date, batch number, and quality mark at the same location. Inspection quantity: 100% inspection.

2. The trench grating should not have quality defects such as missing edges or corners, uneven edges, warping, unevenness, or protruding flanges; the component surface should not have defects like exposed rebars, rough surfaces, peeling, rust, or stains. The angle steel surface should be free of burrs, zinc blooms, zinc deposits, iron protrusions, zinc slag, and zinc ash. Inspection Quantity: Full inspection.

3. The dimensions of the reinforced concrete cover plates should conform to the specified requirements.

4. Inspect the support width and height of the bracket.

Inspection Quantity: Full Count.

Inspection Method: Use a steel ruler.

5. Verify the quality certification documents for the trench grating, which primarily include raw material certification documents and test reports, compression test reports of test blocks, and records of the reinforcement protection layer test for trench covers.

Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) grating trench installation precautions:

1. Before installation, construct both side walls. Concrete is commonly used for the side walls.

Compared to glass fiber reinforced plastic grating, concrete is relatively more stable, and the glass fiber reinforced plastic grating doesn't have a heavy base.

2. According to the trench dimensions, cut the fiberglass trench covers reasonably, then proceed with the installation.

To maintain the stability of the trench grating, it is advisable to have a reasonable concave-convex arrangement on the concrete surface. Fixed measures can also be taken on the surface of the concrete walls, which is slightly more麻烦 than the concave-convex treatment.
