Permeation-proof geotextile (composite geomembrane) is a geosynthetic permeation-proof material made by combining a plastic film, which serves as the permeation-proof base material, with nonwoven fabric. Its permeation-proof performance primarily depends on the permeation-proof properties of the plastic film. The plastic films used in permeation-proof applications globally, mainly include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE), which are high-molecular-weight flexible chemical materials with low density, high extensibility, high adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance,低温 resistance, and good frost resistance. The main mechanism is that the impermeability of the plastic film blocks the leakage pathways in the dam, with its high tensile strength and elongation rate bearing water pressure and accommodating dam deformation; the nonwoven fabric, also a high-molecular-weight short fiber chemical material, is formed through needling or thermal bonding, offering high tensile strength and extensibility. When combined with the plastic film, it not only enhances the tensile strength and puncture resistance of the film but also, due to the rough surface of the nonwoven fabric, increases the friction coefficient of the contact surface, benefiting the stability of the composite geomembrane and protective layer. Additionally, they exhibit good resistance to bacterial and chemical侵蚀, and are not affected by acids, alkalis, or salts.
Performance of waterproof geotextile:
Primarily available in one fabric-one film, two fabrics-one film, and multi-fabric-multi-film configurations, the base fabric is made of needle-punched geotextile, or can also be woven with monofilament or plastic textile. This production process maintains the excellent mechanical properties of the geotextile base while ensuring a uniform film thickness in the composite product, high peel strength, and prevents the formation of air holes and sand holes on the film surface. This significantly enhances the film's anti-seepage strength. The film surface is treated with a embossed finish, which increases the coefficient of friction of the film, thereby improving the stability of the anti-seepage project and facilitating construction.
High-strength geomembrane with excellent elongation properties, large deformation modulus, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and good impermeability. It meets the civil engineering needs for waterproofing, isolation, reinforcement, crack prevention, and reinforcement in water conservancy, municipal, construction, transportation, subway, tunnel, and engineering projects. Due to the use of high polymer materials and the addition of anti-aging agents in the production process, it can be used in unconventional temperature environments and is commonly used for the waterproofing treatment of embankments and drainage channels.
