The steel-plastic composite mesh is made of high-tensile steel wire wrapped with high-density polyethylene to form high-tensile strips, arranged in a plane at right angles and ultrasonically welded into geosynthetic materials. The tensile force of the reinforcing strips can be adjusted by varying the mesh diameter and the number of steel wires according to engineering requirements. The steel-plastic reinforced geogrid is a composite material made by a novel process. Due to its surface being pressed into a regular coarse pattern, it withstands significant tensile and frictional forces when laid in the replacement soil layer, effectively limiting soil shear, lateral extrusion, and bulging. With a high stiffness, the reinforced soil cushion layer facilitates the distribution of upper foundation loads and transmits them more evenly to the underlying soft soil layer, thereby enhancing the bearing capacity of the foundation. The reinforced soil cushion layer increases the overall stiffness of the ground within the compression layer, aiding in adjusting soil deformation. The reinforced soil composite cushion formed using the steel-plastic reinforced geogrid is a flexible structure, capable of absorbing seismic energy effectively, thus exhibiting good seismic performance.


Steel and Plastic Grating Characteristics:


1. The tensile strength of the steel-plastic composite grid is supported by high-tensile steel wires woven in a warp and weft pattern, producing a high tensile modulus under low strain capacity. The longitudinal and transverse ribs work协同, maximizing the grid's locking effect on the soil mass.


2. The longitudinal and transverse ribs of the steel-plastic composite mesh are woven with steel wire, and the outer wrapping layer is formed in one molding. The steel wire and the outer wrapping layer work in harmony, resulting in a low elongation rate (not exceeding 3%). The main load-bearing unit of the steel-plastic composite geogrid is the steel wire, with a low creepage.


3. By treating the plastic surface during the production process, we press rough patterns to enhance the roughness of the grid surface, thereby increasing the friction coefficient between the steel-plastic composite geogrid and the soil mass.


4. The steel-plastic composite grillage can have a width of up to 6 meters, achieving an economical reinforcing effect.


5. The high-density polyethylene used in the steel-plastic composite grate ensures: It will not be eroded by acids, bases, salt solutions, or oils at room temperature; nor will it be attacked by water dissolution or microorganisms. Additionally, the high molecular properties of polyethylene are sufficient to resist aging caused by ultraviolet radiation. The longitudinal and transverse ribs of the grate work synergistically under load, preventing any cracking or damage at the joints. In actual engineering applications, after the filling material is compacted, it remains unaffected by ultraviolet light and oxygen, thereby fully meeting the requirements of engineering construction.
