We found that when the lid hook and body hook lengths are similar, there must be a certain gap between the two ends. The closer the distance between the two ends, the better the sealing quality. If the gap between the two ends is too short, it may cause damage to the coating at the edge of the material. Conversely, the left image shows an unreasonably long lid hook and body hook length.
We understand that the overlapping length (overlap percentage) between the lid hook and body hook is essential to ensure a sufficient seal between the can lid and body. This overlap length is crucial to prevent air and other substances from contacting both the interior and exterior of the can, thereby guaranteeing product quality.
Upon further examination of the left-side sealed image, while the test data alone indicates that the overlap length and (overlap percentage) are satisfactory, and the test data is fully compliant, the actual image reveals that the overlap between the lid hook and body hook is not sufficiently tight, whereas the body section and lid side are overly compressed.
Therefore, we believe that the first step in roll sealing measurement is to ensure the合理性 of the physical roll sealing diagram. Additionally, the spacing between the two ends of the lid hook should be reasonable, as well as the similarity in length between the lid hook and the body hook. Furthermore, the overlap of the lid hook and body hook should be normal and reasonable. Only after considering these conditions can the roll sealing data of the container be considered a reliable reference.
In summary, and based on our long-standing experience, we find the so-called daily, monthly, and annual quality comparison feature of certain sealing machines to lack strict scientific basis and be questionable and unscientific. This is also the reason and rationale behind our decision not to utilize this feature.
