The product is easy to operate and install, catering to the needs of various types of laboratories for extraction and purification.
Proper usage and maintenance of the separatory funnel oscillator are crucial to keep it in good working condition, thereby extending its lifespan. When using, pay attention to the following key points:
Use at medium speed within the speed range to extend the service life of the instrument.
2. Instruments should be placed on a sturdy workbench, with a clean and organized environment, moderate temperature, and good ventilation.
3. Prior to using the instrument, first position the speed control knob to the low setting.
4. When installing test bottles on the vertical workbench, avoid placing heavier bottles at the ends. The culture medium in each bottle should be approximately equal. If there are insufficient culture bottles, place the test bottles symmetrically or fill the empty spaces with other equal quantities of solution.
5. Connect the external power source, set the power switch to the "on" position, the indicator light will illuminate, then slowly adjust the speed control knob to reach the desired speed.
6. Before each shutdown, turn the speed control knob to the smallest position and then disconnect the power.

As follows:
1. Ready
Select a separatory funnel that is at least twice the volume of the extractant and the extractive solution. Check if the lid and stopcock are tightly sealed.
2. Additives
The solution to be extracted and the extracting agent are poured separately into the top of the separatory funnel, then cover the lid.
3. Oscillation:
Agitate the separatory funnel to ensure thorough contact between the two liquid phases. The oscillating operation typically involves tilting the funnel slightly so that the top is slightly downward. The liquids mix to form an emulsion.
4. Venting
After shaking, keep the separatory funnel tilted and turn the stopcock to release steam or generated gas, achieving pressure equilibrium inside and outside.
5. Repeated Oscillation
Repeat the oscillation and degassing several times. The operation and phenomena are the same as during oscillation and degassing.
6. Static resting
Place the separatory funnel in the iron ring and let it stand. The purpose of standing still is to allow the unstable emulsion to separate into layers.
7. Separation
Once the liquid separates into distinct layers, it can be separated. When separating the liquid layers, the lower layer should be released through the stopcock, and the upper layer should be poured out from the top.
8. Consolidate
The extracted solution separated from the extract is then re-extracted using the aforementioned method, typically 3 to 5 times.
9. Distilled
Add the dried extract to the distillation flask to evaporate the solvent, thereby obtaining the extract product.
