Exterior mineral wool boards offer fire-resistant properties, reaching the A级 fire rating, and can be used in combination with insulating materials.

High compressive, tensile strength, and durability specifications, ensuring long-term stability and reliability of product performance.

Rock wool is non-combustible, does not release heat or toxic smoke, and can effectively prevent the spread of fire during a fire, offering fire-resistant properties.

Insulation and heat retention


The base refers to the position of the building's outer wall that is held by the external thermal insulation system of mineral wool board. The insulation layer is composed of hydrophilic mineral wool board, serving as the structural layer for insulation in the external thermal insulation system. The auxiliary materials for the facing layer consist of mortar paste and reinforced with glass fiber mesh.

And applied, it adheres to the rock wool insulation layer or leveling layer, serving as a surface layer for maintaining the rock wool board and providing crack resistance, breathability, and shock resistance.
Adhesive is an auxiliary material used for bonding polymer cement mortar between mineral wool boards and the base layer. Primer is an auxiliary material of polymer emulsion that enhances the bonding performance of the mineral wool board surface and the base layer. It should not have breathable properties and should be made of acrylic acid esters.
Extracted from polymer-like substances and water-repellent agents. The mortar paste is primarily composed of high polymer polymers, cement, sand, and fillers, featuring a certain degree of deformation ability and good bonding properties.

During the process of regulating rock wool board prices, it is entirely possible to avoid the peak installation periods and the associated surge. The climate in winter and summer is not suitable for installing rock wool boards. Therefore, even if this material is installed during these two periods, it will be affected. Spring and autumn see a higher demand for rock wool board installations, so prices for rock wool boards are likely to increase during these times as well, and are even subject to seasonal fluctuations.

When setting up ventilation channels in the expansion joints of the leveling mortar layer, ensure there are no omissions when leaving ventilation grooves in the board-like insulation layer as needed.

The thermal insulation layer of composite rock wool boards has been laid. When walking on it or transporting materials with a wheelbarrow, protective scaffolding should be used.

When composite boards show signs of chipping or corner damage, they can be repaired by filling in with pieces of the same material.

Utilize B-type composite lightweight aggregates for sub-layer slope leveling: Locate the level line and control line on the slope layer of the wall according to the design-required curvature.

Application of Protective Coating: When laying concrete blocks as the surface layer, gaps between the boards should be treated with mortar joints and leveled with cement mortar. If a non-functional roof is used as the roof, it can be treated by laying prefabricated concrete panels flat. The thickness of the prefabricated panels should be less than 30mm and possess adequate strength.


Water Absorption Rate: Building thermal insulation is like putting on a cotton jacket for a building. This jacket not only needs to provide external insulation but also must not absorb water.

2. Permeability: The permeability technical indicator refers to the resistance of water vapor diffusion. If the exterior wall insulation system has poor permeability, the diffusion of water is blocked, which leads to: 1) blocking the outflow of moisture from the wall, affecting the color of the finish paint; 2) generating stress that causes blisters and peeling of the paint film; 3) gradually increasing the moisture content of the wall, leading to condensation water accumulation, adversely affecting the performance of the wall, such as thermal and structural aspects; 4) even if the exterior wall insulation system meets the energy-saving standards, it can cause indoor air to become polluted, making it unsuitable for habitation.

3. Bond Strength: Reflects the bond firmness of the wall insulation material, reducing and avoiding hollow鼓s, cracks, and peeling in the wall insulation system, ensuring the safety and durability of its functional use.

4. Tensile Strength: The insulating board reaches a certain tensile or tear strength.


When choosing thermal insulation materials, many people use the thermal conductivity as the sole criterion for evaluating them as external insulation or for their low water absorption and thermal conductivity. However, thermal conductivity is a common indicator for measuring insulating performance and an important reference for material selection. Yet, the quality of thermal insulation materials cannot be determined solely by this indicator; a comprehensive assessment should consider the following factors:

1. Prior to construction, the subgrade must be cleaned and inspected. At this stage, we first thoroughly clean any dirt, debris, etc., from the surface of the composite rock wool board, then precast or cast in situ the concrete subgrade.

2. After cleaning, the insulation layer should be laid, which involves the following steps:

For layered panels, the upper and lower layers should be staggered. Use similar material debris to fill the gaps between panels tightly and securely, while the surface should be at the same height as the adjacent panels.
