The twin-axle paddle mixer is equipped with two parallel shafts rotating in opposite directions, each with paddles set at different preset angles. As the paddles rotate, they agitate the material at a linear speed exceeding the critical speed, causing the material to reach the highest point of a parabolic trajectory, which we refer to as the zero-gravity point. Hence, the twin-axle paddle mixer is also known as a zero-gravity mixer.
