In pipeline shutdown operations, steel pipelines used as bypasses have many drawbacks. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene steel-reinforced composite pipes, which have rapidly developed in recent years, are made by composite processing of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene inner tubes, high-tensile steel wires, and radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable tape. Due to their superior impact strength, wear resistance, corrosion and temperature resistance, fatigue and aging resistance, self-lubricating and anti-scaling properties, rigidity, flexibility, and pressure-bearing capacity, they have garnered considerable attention.
