Hydro-turbine Generator Set Dynamic Simulation Model (Mixed Flow Type)
This model requires production in scaled-down proportions based on the specified power station, with a vertical arrangement of the units. The content displayed in the model includes: dam, substation, overall structure of the powerhouse, pier, crane frame, overhead traveling crane, walkway, roof, floor, turbine housing, guide vane mechanism, movable guide vanes, saddle ring, runner, generator, exciter, tailwater conduit, inlet, governor, etc.
1) This simulation model features a fully transparent casing, tail water conduit, and other parts with a three-dimensional structure, allowing water flow and equipped with an automatic water circulation system. The model consists of three compartments: an upper water tank, a lower water tank, and a tail water tank. These tanks are interconnected using PVC supply pipes, with a large-diameter submersible pump used to raise water levels.
Three water tanks are all determined through theoretical calculations and verified by experiments. The upper tank (representing upstream water level) and lower tank (representing tailwater pool) are made of 8mm thick acrylic glass using patented technology, which can prevent deformation and cracking; the storage tank (for water storage) is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. The tanks are arranged beneath the pedestal, which is equipped with swivel casters for easy movement.
2) Upon power-up, you can observe the turbine rotor being moved by the water, which in turn powers the generator to produce electricity, illuminating the light bulb. The instruments quickly respond to simulated data.
