Basic Introduction
The semi-fixed foam fire extinguishing unit, also known as the cart-type foam fire extinguishing unit, is a new type of portable foam fire extinguishing unit. It operates quickly and easily, with high reliability, and is used to extinguish Class A, B, and C non-aqueous liquid fires.
Primarily composed of foam liquid storage tanks, foam guns, pipeline proportioning mixers, hoses, and handles with bottom wheels. Simply connect the fire hoses provided with the device to hydrants and other water supply equipment for use. Place it in a favorable location for extinguishing fires. As a supplement to fixed fire extinguishing systems, it can be used for fire protection of multiple devices within a protected area.
The semi-fixed foam fire extinguishing system connects the pipe unions at both ends of its pipeline proportioning mixer to fire hoses and to a pressure water source. When water at a pressure of not less than 0.6 MPa flows at high speed through the nozzle of the proportioning mixer, due to the lateral movement and diffusion of jet particles, a vacuum (negative pressure) is formed inside the mixer. As a result, foam liquid from the foam liquid storage tank is forced through the suction pipe into the mixer, where it is mixed with the pressure water at a predetermined ratio to form a foam mixture. When the pressurized mixture reaches the foam gun, due to the gun's ability to draw in a certain amount of air, the foam mixture froths and is喷射 onto the surface of the burning liquid, achieving the foam fire extinguishing effect.
