Application Scope
KH-560 is an epoxy-containing coupling agent used in sealants and adhesives for polysulfides and polyurethanes, as well as for epoxies, filled or reinforced thermosetting resins, glass fiber adhesives, and thermoplastic resins for inorganic filling or glass reinforcement.
Features and Applications
Enhance the strength properties of hard composites reinforced with glass fiber roving. Maintain the strength properties at the maximum level post-humidification.
Enhanced electrical properties of epoxy resin-based electronic sealants and encapsulation materials, as well as printed circuit boards, are a result of the increased bonding strength between the resin and the substrate or filler.
Enhanced electrical properties of nylon reinforced with numerous inorganic fillers, including polybutylene terephthalate composites.
Effective on a wide range of fillers and matrices, including clays, talc, wollastonite, quartzite, quartz, or metals such as aluminum, copper, and iron.
Specific applications benefiting from the addition of KH-560 include: epoxy sealants filled with quartz, pre-mixed formulations, epoxy resin concrete patch materials or coatings filled with sand, and epoxy resin materials for mold tools and metal fillers.
