The hollow grouting bolt body is essentially the grouting tube. After injecting grouting fluid, it not only anchors the bolt but also, when the grouting pressure is high, some of the grouting may渗入the fissures of the anchor hole, reinforcing the surrounding rock. A plug and a vent pipe should be installed in the upward bore.

Hollow anchor rods are suitable for medium geological conditions, temporary and advance support. They are mainly used in projects such as railways, highways, tunnels, mines, hydraulic hubs, slopes, embankments, bridge foundations, river and lake banks, high-rise building foundations, and reinforcement of structures. By pressure grouting through the hollow anchor rod body, it can achieve the purpose of consolidating broken rock mass, intercepting groundwater, and preventing corrosion of the rod, rapidly forming support force, and controlling the stability of the surrounding rock.
Section 4: Precautions for the Construction of Hollow Grouting Anchor Bolts
Casting workers must wear protective gear.
Thoroughly inspect machinery, equipment, and wiring to prevent electric shock injuries.
● Operators strictly follow the operational procedures.
The grouting worker and grouting pump operator must be well-coordinated.
After grouting is complete, the valve must be closed first, then attend to the slurry pump.
● The pouring hole is not to be aimed at people.
