Note:WM-IIThe machine is suitable for inspecting steel wheels of the two specified thicknesses, as well as the two abrasive materials, two ceramic tiles, and pavement tiles.
Working Principle and Result Assessment
This testing instrument consists of the power transmission section, specimen clamp section, abrasive storage and supply section, and electrical control section. The abrasive wheel rotates at a constant speed, and the specimen is in contact with the friction steel wheel at a certain pressure through the application of a weighted anvil. The abrasive is introduced into the grinding area at a regulated flow rate, causing the specimen surface to develop grinding pits under the abrasive action. The length of the grinding pit chords on the specimen surface is measured (accuracy to0.5MM), the wear volume is calculated to represent the degree of wear of the sample. Each sample is evaluated based on the average wear volume of two locations.
