Product Features

Kason solution appears as a light amber clear liquid with a mild odor. It has a relative density of 1.19 (20/4) and a viscosity of 5.0 mPa.s at 23°C, with a freezing point of -18 to -21.5°C and a pH range of 3.5 to 5.0. It is easily soluble in water,低碳醇, and ethylene glycol. Optimal use is at pH 4-8; stability decreases at pH > 8. Stored at room temperature for one year and at 50°C for six months, its activity declines minimally. Storage at high temperatures reduces its activity. It is compatible with anionic, cationic, nonionic, and various ionic emulsifiers and proteins. Primarily used for cosmetic preservatives due to its low toxicity, broad antibacterial spectrum, strong efficacy, and good compatibility with cosmetic ingredients, it dissolves in water for easy application and can be directly added. Its effectiveness is enhanced when used with esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid. Kason can also be used as a preservative in papermaking, cooling towers, metal cutting oils, and paint coatings.
