The core component of a rotary desiccant dehumidifier is a honeycomb rotor, which is made of a special ceramic fiber carrier and composite activated silicone; the rotor is divided into two zones on either side by a custom sealing device: the treatment zone and the regeneration zone.
As moist air requiring dehumidification passes through the treatment area of the wheel, the moisture vapor in the wet air is adsorbed by the active silica of the wheel, while the dried air is sent to the space for treatment by the handling fan. The wheel, which rotates slowly and continuously, carries the approaching-saturated moisture vapor into the regeneration area; the high-temperature air blown in the opposite direction within the regeneration zone desorbs the moisture adsorbed in the wheel, which is then exhausted outdoors by the fan, restoring the wheel's moisture adsorption capability and completing the regeneration process.
Utilizing imported honeycomb-shaped silicone desiccant rotors, these are structured into a cylindrical disc. The rotor is then rotated within a ceramic silicone crystalline chamber, separating into a desiccant zone and a regeneration zone. Air used for drying passes through the desiccant zone, where it is absorbed by the rotor to remove moisture, resulting in dry air. After absorbing moisture, the desiccant zone rotates into the regeneration zone, where it is heated by the air to expel moisture outside. The rotor returns to the desiccant zone after releasing moisture, thus continuously performing drying and regeneration. This process yields a consistent supply of dry air.
