Oil-resistant rubber sheets are industrial products made primarily from rubber (which may include reinforcing materials such as fabric or thin metal plates) through the vulcanization process, commonly referred to as rubber plates. They are categorized by structure into solid rubber plates, fabric-reinforced plates, and metal-reinforced plates, and by application into industrial rubber plates and rubber flooring. Colors include black, red, white, green, and more. Production involves calendering and lamination or extrusion molding techniques, followed by processing through flat or drum vulcanizing machines.
