Performance and Applications

1. Easily soluble in water, the solution is milky white, and it is not resistant to strong acids, bases, heavy metal salts, and reducers. It penetrates quickly and evenly, with good wetting, penetration, emulsifying, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is best below 40°C, and it is more prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis at high temperatures. It is recommended to treat the fabric with the penetrant first at temperatures below 40°C before increasing the temperature. Penetrant T is not resistant to strong alkalis and should not be directly added to concentrated alkali solutions; it should be diluted first before adding Penetrant T.

2. This product is an efficient penetrant, suitable for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics. After treatment, the fabric can be directly bleached or dyed without retting, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton and making the fabric feel softer and fuller after printing and dyeing. When bleaching the unprocessed fabric, it's best to remove the dye first to ensure the penetration effect.

3. If too much foam is observed when using Surfactant T, a small amount of defoamer can be added, such as GP or octanol, tributyl phosphate, and the like for defoaming.

4. For cotton dyeing; used in wettable powder of pesticides.

Packaging and Storage

200Kg/50Kg plastic drum packaging. Stored and transported as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
