Product Performance

1. A cationic surfactant, readily soluble in water and acetone, butanol, benzene, chloroform, dimethylacetamide, dioxane, ethylene glycol, methyl (ethyl or butyl), cellulose solvent, and acetic acid and water at room temperature. It is also soluble in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, and styrene at 50°C.

2. Stable against 5% dilute acid and alkali; decomposes above 180°C.

3. Compatible with cationic and non-ionic surfactants for mixing, but not recommended for use with anionic surfactants in the same bath.

Product Applications

1. Effective for the static elimination in spinning of synthetic fibers like polyester, nylon, and chlorinated polyethylene, offering excellent antistatic properties. The antistatic agent SN can be used alone or mixed with non-anionic surfactant oils and emulsifiers to form a solution. Passing the fiber bundles through this emulsion eliminates static electricity, typically at a dosage of 0.2~0.5% of the fiber weight.

2. Suitable as a leveling agent for polypropylene nitrile.

Packaging and Storage
