Performance & Applications

1. This product features stable performance, does not react with the raw materials of most cosmetics, remains stable in acidic and alkaline mediums, and can be blended with anionic and cationic surfactants. As a softener, it offers certain lubricating, wetting, plasticizing, solubilizing, and dispersing properties.

2. In hair care products, it can partially or fully replace white mineral oil, imparting shine to the hair and providing hold, serving as a plasticizer and thickener for hair gel resins.

3. In skincare products, it serves as a lubricant for non-greasy sunscreens, providing a pleasant dry feeling to the skin; in skin lubricants, its solvency and moisturizing properties can be utilized to remove oil stains.

4. In bath products, low-temperature transparent bath oils and hand sanitizers can be produced.

5. Used as an anti-adhesive and valve lubricant in aerosols.

6. In cosmetic and beauty products, it serves as a pigment carrier, forming an oil-free, non-sticky film; it can also be used as a pigment dispersant and coupling agent, allowing for the coupling of a large amount of essential oils, enabling them to dissolve in mineral oil.

7. Used as an intermediate in the chemical industry for synthesizing special performance surfactants. For example, the product obtained by adding epichlorohydrin to SPO-20 forms a thick colloidal gel at the cloud point in a 1% water solution, which can revert to a water-like state upon cooling.

Packaging and Storage
