Color-mixing injection molding machine

The existing general injection molding machines can only produce single-color or one-color products. To enrich the surface patterns and textures of plastic parts, a secondary surface treatment is applied after injection molding, which includes surface painting and electroplating to enhance the product's aesthetics. Through years of research and development, Tongshihai has developed a new injection molding process that eliminates the need for painting and electroplating, allowing for direct injection through a color-mixing injection molding machine. This process achieves a multicolored mixed surface effect on the plastic. Color-mixing injection molding involves injecting two different colored plastic materials into the mold cavity without vigorous stirring (or becoming one color). The key technical aspect is to display two, three, or more colors on the surface of the part, with control over the thickness and size of the mixed patterns. The products produced using this color-mixing injection molding process have gained widespread customer recognition and will be widely applied to more injection molded parts in the future.

Dual-color injection molding machine

Now, standard injection molding machines can only produce plastic products in a single color. To achieve a specific color, you simply add the corresponding color powder or masterbatch to the plastic material. With the advancement of technology, a new type of injection molding machine capable of producing mixed-color plastic products has emerged, known as the dual-color injection molding machine. Once a plastic products manufacturer has such a machine, they can use the existing molds without the need for new mold creation and can produce mixed-color plastic products without additional equipment. These mixed-color plastic products are aesthetically pleasing with a wide range of colors. The working principle of the dual-color injection molding machine is as follows: the clamping mechanism is similar to that of a standard injection molding machine, but it features two sets of mechanisms, two sets of screw barrels, two power systems, and two oil pumps. The injection system is doubled. Both systems share a single nozzle. The two system units inject two different colored plastic materials simultaneously or alternately into the mold cavity, achieving a mixed-color effect on the surface of the plastic.
