Introduction
Some powdered materials have poor flowability and require the use of auxiliary flow equipment such as air cushions, pneumatic hammers, and impact hammers, even possibly using an air cannon for flow assistance. In such cases, an activator hopper is the ideal auxiliary flow and discharge equipment for handling these materials.
Principles and Functions
An elastic sealing component is added between the storage bin and the conical part, which is connected to the bin and the conical part via top and bottom flanges and springs. A vibration motor is installed on the conical part, and a pressure-reducing cone is set inside to ensure the material inside the conical part is relatively loose. When the activated feed hopper is in operation, it generates a rotational motion, which is then transmitted to the silo.
Material inside. This allows the material to smoothly pass through the activation hopper and into the feeding equipment connected below. The activation hopper has various industrial applications, used to discharge powdered or granular materials from silos or hoppers. The use of the activation hopper ensures the consistency of feeding and creates a "high flow rate" within the silo.
