Introduction to PERT II Type Polyurethane Pre-fabricated Direct Burial Insulation Pipe

PERT Type II insulation pipeline is a new high-temperature-resistant material that maintains the low-temperature resistance of polyethylene while enhancing its creep resistance and strength under high temperatures. It offers good flexibility and thermal conductivity, is easy to process, recyclable, and weldable, making it suitable for civil building cold and hot water piping systems, industrial thermal medium transportation systems, and floor radiant heating systems.

The PERT II type, due to the plastic material being a poor conductor of heat, the thermal conductivity of the PE-RT II heat-resistant plastic pipe is less than 1% of that of steel pipes, meaning the pipe itself has inherent thermal insulation properties. Additionally, the thermal expansion coefficients of the PE-RT II heat-resistant plastic pipe, insulation layer, and outer sheath are basically the same, forming an integrated whole between the three layers, making delamination unlikely. The pipe's insulation effect is superior to that of steel pipes, and it will save on insulation materials under the same insulation effect, thus the thermal insulation performance of the PERT I1 type heat-resistant plastic insulated pipe is better than that of traditional insulated pipes.
