The CYD-3000/2000 Multi-functional Magnetic Particle Detector is a portable multi-functional magnetic particle detector that can magnetize and demagnetize the inspected parts in AC or DC, and can perform external and residual magnetism inspection; it can magnetize large-sized parts in sections. It utilizes logical circuits and electronic timing control circuits, featuring a power-off phase controller for stable residual magnetism and automatic demagnetization that gradually reduces the magnetizing current to zero, ensuring residual magnetism is eliminated. It is easy to operate with excellent results. The size of the thyristor conduction angle is adjusted to control the magnetizing and demagnetizing currents. Suitable for inspecting various pressure vessels, metal structures, castings, forgings, weldments, heat-treated parts, and various components in industries such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, shipping, electricity, railroads, automobiles, and mechanical repairs.

The instrument is equipped with casters for easy movement and can be used on-site or placed in a fixed position, powered by AC or DC magnetizing power supply.
Utilizing AC phase control for power interruption, the inspection can be performed using either the continuous method or the residual magnetism method.
Utilizing silicon-controlled rectifier voltage regulation, with continuous adjustable current and multiple protections against overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature.
Inspection by contact method (rod method) or winding/coil method.
Utilizes full-wave or half-wave rectification with AC/DC, in compliance with the American ASME standards.
Utilize decaying automatic demagnetization.
Available with portable probes such as AEOD.
