Section 3: Instructions for Use
Plug in the power and water supply.
Select the appropriate fixture based on the core sample diameter, securely clamp the core sample, and then tighten the fixture after positioning it at the center of the base.
Loosen the upper and lower tension handwheels, turn the lifting handwheel, when the end face of the grinding wheel is at a distance from the end face of the core sample.
Stop at 1mm. Then, tighten the upper handle, open the water inlet valve to allow water flow, and close the power switch to start the grinding wheel. Rotate the handwheel counterclockwise, while turning the fine adjustment wheel clockwise to lower the grinding head. When the face of the grinding wheel contacts the sample face, oscillate the grinding head to grind until the sample face is level.
After grinding is complete, turn off the power and water nozzle valve, then rotate the micro handwheel counterclockwise to its upper limit position.
Loosen the clamp lever, remove the fixture along with the specimen and install it in reverse. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 to grind the opposite end face. Continue until the core specimen end face meets the required specifications.

Turn off the power after using the grinder and clean the machine thoroughly.
