Silicone rubber inflatable sealing rings are a sealing technology achievement used under specific conditions. Due to the high import costs in the early stages, this has been one of the reasons they have not been widely used domestically. The manufacturing process for finished products is complex, requiring high-quality materials, resulting in a low pass rate. Additionally, the cross-sectional shapes, circumference dimensions, and directions of the circumference for silicone rubber inflatable sealing rings used in different scenarios vary. Each specification of inflatable sealing ring requires the design and manufacturing of a large-scale mold, thus driving up production costs. Currently, Shanghai Qingtu Rubber Technology Co., Ltd. has broken through the monopoly and successfully researched a large-scale inflatable sealing ring segment molding curing technology, which can produce large inflatable sealing rings with an infinite circumference using small molds.

Air-filled sealing rings are available in various cross-sectional shapes, including circular, rectangular, square, trapezoidal, D-shaped, C-shaped, V-shaped, and M-shaped types. These air-filled sealing rings are primarily used for the following situation:
Large hatch gaps and hatch openings require sealing. These types of hatches typically have a larger circumference, and due to machining and assembly accuracy or environmental temperature changes, they may undergo thermal expansion and contraction deformation, leading to inconsistent or varying sealing gaps. The variation range is generally 3-5mm or even more, making it difficult to achieve ideal sealing with standard sealing strips. In such cases, a sealing product that can adjust to varying gaps is needed. The inflatable sealing ring is a new type of sealing technology developed to meet this sealing requirement.
Frequent opening and closing of pipe ports and valves, particularly in dust-pipe systems in the power and chemical industries, which require regular opening, clearing, and then closing. Such pipes are typically above ¢300mm in diameter, and using flange covers with common gaskets and bolts for tightness significantly increases maintenance time and installation difficulty. However, using an inflatable sealing ring can easily resolve these issues, as it can be secured with minimal bolts, or even just clips instead of bolts.
