Metal tube rotary flowmeters (metal tube float flowmeters) are commonly used process monitoring, control, and measurement instruments in industrial automation. They feature compact size, wide measurement range, and easy operation and maintenance.
Product Execution Standards: JB/T6844, JJG257.
The TF series features a full metal structure transmitter with non-magnetic hysteresis and no mechanical transmission mechanism. The entire unit is based on modular design, including a newly designed indicator, a 4-20mA remote signal output module, a switch signal output module, instantaneous and cumulative flow display, HART protocol, and MODBUS(RTU) bus. Custom configurations can be produced to meet user requirements: high-temperature and high-pressure design, selection of anti-corrosion materials, and various pipeline installation designs ensure the product's suitability for diverse field needs.
Metal tube rotameters are widely used in the measurement and process control of liquid, gas, and steam mediums in industries such as petroleum, chemicals, metallurgy, electricity, food, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, and water treatment, thanks to their excellent performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
I. Brief Introduction:
This series introducesHorizontal T-type metal tube float flowmeterThe fluid inlet and outlet directions are left-in and right-out. The standard sensor material is 304 stainless steel (optional 316 or 316L). The indicator in the photo is a local pointer type. For horizontal flowmeters with an orifice size ≤ DN50, a T-type structure is commonly used. Indicators can be selected from other types based on site requirements.
Overview:
Metal Tube Float Flow MeterThe Tube Float Flow Meter, also known as a variable area flow meter, is commonly used in industrial automation process control for measuring flow. It boasts features such as a compact size, wide measurement range, and ease of use. It is suitable for measuring the flow of liquids, gases, and steam, particularly for low flow rates and volumes. Over the years, the metal tube float flow meter has been widely applied in industries such as petrochemicals, steel, electricity, metallurgy, light industry, food, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment, due to its excellent performance, reliability, and favorable cost-performance ratio.
Flowmeter Type:
The TF series metal tube float flow meter consists of a measuring tube (sensor) and an indicator (electronic converter). By selecting different types of measuring tubes and indicators, various complete units can be assembled to meet on-site requirements.
The TF series metal tube float flowmeters are divided into 5 types based on the direction of the fluid's inlet and outlet: vertical type, horizontal type (including horizontal T type and horizontal spring type), bottom inlet-side outlet type, side inlet-side outlet type, and side inlet-top outlet type. Each type features standard models, high-temperature models, jacketed models, and so on.
Horizontal MountFlow meterFor sizes DN50 and below (inclusive), choose the T-type structure; for sizes above DN50, opt for the spring-type structure.
Flow Meter Connection SpecificationsThe TF series metal tube float flowmeter standard model uses the GB/T9119-2000 flange standard, which can be customized according to customer requirements. Threaded and clamp connection methods are also available.
Indicator Selection:
Users can select from on-site display, battery-powered, wired remote, intrinsically safe, explosion-proof, or HART protocol models according to the actual on-site requirements. Detailed functional descriptions of various indicators are listed below.
Indicator Type
Instrument Function Description
M1 Model
Local pointer indicates flow rate; no power required, no 4~20mA remote transmission; optional flow alarm unit; scale disk can be set to instantaneous flow rate or percentage scale value.
M3 model
Local digital display, battery-powered, without 4~20mA remote transmission, non-explosion proof. LCD shows both instantaneous and accumulated flow rates. On-site buttons are used to view and modify relevant parameters. The battery can last for 6 months, and the battery should be replaced when the T character appears on the display (battery model: ER26500, 3.6V, 7.5Ah, -55℃~85℃).
M4 Model
Electrical remote transmission, inherently safe design, explosion-proof marking ExdⅡCT6, optional HART protocol function. DC24V power supply, on-site pointer indicates instantaneous flow rate and digital display of instantaneous and cumulative flow rates. Two-wire system 4~20mA output, panel features 4 buttons for viewing and modifying internal parameters. For detailed instructions, see page 18.
M5 model
Electrical remote transmission, explosion-proof design, with explosion-proof marking ExdⅡCT6, optional HART protocol function. Powered by DC24V, features on-site pointer indicating instantaneous flow rate and digital display for both instantaneous and cumulative flow rates. Two-wire system with 4-20mA output. The panel is equipped with 4 buttons for viewing and modifying internal parameters.
