The HP8 high-temperature mica tube is a rigid tubular insulating material made by bonding and rolling mica flakes, mica paper, or phlogopite paper with appropriate adhesive (or mica paper bonded to one-side reinforced material). It boasts excellent electrical insulation properties and high mechanical strength, making it suitable for insulating electrode rods or outlet sleeve tubes in various electrical appliances, motors, and electric furnaces. Specifications: Mica tube length ranges from 300 to 500 mm, with inner diameter sizes from Φ6 to Φ300 mm. Special specifications can be custom-made according to samples or drawings.
Nominal Inner Diameter | Inner Diameter Tolerance | Outer Diameter Tolerance
<10 ±0.3 ±0.4
10-20 ±0.4 ±0.5
21-50 ±0.5 ±0.7
51-100 ±0.6 ±1.0
101-200 ±0.8 ±1.2
201-300 ±1.0 ±1.5
The HP8 high-temperature mica tube, compared to traditional ceramic tubes, boasts easy control over wall thickness and ellipticity, even discharge, and resistance to breakage, making it an ideal substitute for certain types of ceramic tubes. Mechanically produced and monitored with electronic measuring devices, the product features smooth inner and outer walls, good roundness and symmetry, high strength, and excellent density, with the maximum density reaching up to 2.0g/cm3. Generally, we produce according to the standard of positive tolerance for inner diameter and negative tolerance for outer diameter. Upon customer request, we can control the tolerance of the mica tube to within 0.2mm.
As lifestyles change and living standards continue to rise, many consumers tend to choose products with good insulation properties and high mechanical strength. These products offer more convenience in our daily lives, benefiting maintenance and ensuring safety and reliability during use. Many household appliances use mica tubes, which are primarily made from materials like mica sheet, muscovite paper, or gold mica paper. They are hard, tubular insulating materials with excellent insulation properties. Now, let's delve into the characteristics and applications of mica tubes.
1. The product is primarily made using mica material, which boasts excellent insulation properties and good mechanical strength, ensuring a superior insulation effect during use.
