Overview:
intrinsically safe metal tube float flow meterThe metal tube rotor flowmeter is a commonly used variable area flow measurement instrument in industrial automation process control. It features a compact size, wide measurement range, and ease of use. It is suitable for measuring the flow rates of liquids, gases, and steam, particularly for low flow rates and small volumes. Over the years, the metal tube float flowmeter has been widely applied in industries such as petrochemicals, steel, electricity, metallurgy, light industry, food, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment, due to its excellent performance, reliability, and favorable performance-to-cost ratio.
Flowmeter Type:
TF SeriesMetal Tube Float Flow MeterComposed of a measuring tube (sensor) and an indicator (electronic converter), various whole machines can be assembled by choosing different types of measuring tubes and indicators, to meet on-site requirements.
The TF series metal tube float flowmeters are divided into 5 types based on the direction of the fluid inlet and outlet: vertical type, horizontal type (including horizontal T-type and horizontal spring type), bottom inlet-side outlet type, side inlet-side outlet type, and side inlet-top outlet type. Each type also features standard models, high-temperature models, jacketed models, etc.
For horizontal installation flowmeters, choose T-type structures when the diameter is less than or equal to DN50, and spring structures when greater than DN50.
Flow Meter Connection Specifications: The TF series metal tube float flow meter standard model adopts the GB/T9119-2000 flange standard, which can be customized according to customer requirements. Threaded and clamp connection methods are also available.
Indicator Selection:
Users can select on-site display, electrical remote transmission, intrinsic safety, explosion-proof, or HART protocol-compatible models based on actual site requirements. Detailed functional descriptions of various indicators are listed below.
Indicator Type
Instrument Function Description
M1 model
Locally mounted pointer indicates flow rate; no power required, no 4-20mA remote transmission; optional flow alarm device; scale dial can be set for instantaneous flow rate or percentage scale value.
M3 Type
Local digital display, battery-powered, no 4~20mA remote transmission, non-explosion-proof. LCD shows instantaneous and accumulated flow rates; on-site buttons are used to view and modify related parameters. Battery life is up to 6 months; replace the battery when the T character appears on the display (Battery model: ER26500, 3.6V, 7.5AH, -55℃~85℃).
