I. Brief Introduction:
This photo showcasesintrinsically safe metal tube rotameterThe sensor in the photo features a vertical downward-in, upward-out structure. The standard sensor material is 304 stainless steel (optional materials include 316, 316L, Fluorine-lined, etc.). It operates on a 24VDC supply, with an output of 4-20mA. Users can choose an explosion-proof rating of ExdIICT6 and options like HART protocol. The sensor structure can be selected from various types based on the on-site conditions.
Overview:
intrinsically safe metal tube rotameterThe (Metal Tube Rotameter) is a commonly used variable area flow measurement instrument in industrial automation process control. It features a compact size, wide measurement range, and ease of use. It is suitable for measuring the flow of liquids, gases, and steam, particularly for low flow rates and low volumes. Over the years, the metal tube float rotameter has been widely applied in industries such as petrochemicals, steel, power, metallurgy, light industry, food, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment, thanks to its excellent performance, reliability, and favorable performance-to-price ratio.
Flowmeter Type:
intrinsically safe metal tube flowmeterComposed of measuring tubes (sensors) and indicators (electronic converters), different types of measuring tubes and indicators can be selected to assemble into various complete units, catering to on-site requirements.
The TF series metal tube float flowmeters are divided into 5 types based on the direction of the fluid's inlet and outlet: vertical type, horizontal type (including horizontal T-type and horizontal spring type), bottom inlet and side outlet type, side inlet and side outlet type, and side inlet and top outlet type. Each type also has standard models, high-temperature models, jacketed models, etc.
Horizontal installation typeFlowmeterFor diameters less than or equal to DN50, choose T-type structures; for diameters greater than DN50, opt for spring structures.
Flowmeter Connection Specifications: The TF series metal tube float flowmeter standard model adopts the GB/T9119-2000 flange standard, which can be customized according to customer requirements; both threaded and clamp connection methods are also available.
Indicator Selection:
Users can select from on-site display, battery-powered, wireless remote, intrinsically safe, explosion-proof, or HART-protocol-enabled models according to their specific on-site needs. Detailed descriptions of the various indicators' functions are listed below.
Indicator Type
Instrument Function Description
M1 Model
The in-line pointer indicates flow, no power required, no 4~20mA remote transmission, optional flow alarm device, the scale can be set to show instantaneous flow values or percentage scale values.
M3 Model
Local digital display, battery-powered, no 4~20mA remote transmission, non-explosion proof. LCD shows instantaneous and accumulated flow rates; on-site buttons are used to view and modify related parameters. The battery can last for 6 months; replace the battery when the T character appears on the display (battery model: ER26500, 3.6V, 7.5AH, -55℃~85℃).
M4 Model
Electrical remote transmission, inherently safe design, explosion-proof marking ExdⅡCT6, optional HART protocol function. Powered by DC24V, features on-site pointer indicating instantaneous flow and digital display of both instantaneous and cumulative flow. Two-wire system with 4-20mA output. The panel is equipped with 4 buttons for viewing and modifying internal parameters. Detailed usage instructions on page 18.
M5 model
Electrical remote transmission, explosion-proof design with ExdⅡCT6 marking, optional HART protocol functionality. Powered by DC24V,现场 pointer indicates instantaneous flow rate and digital display for both instantaneous and cumulative flow rates. Two-wire system with 4~20mA output. The panel features 4 buttons for viewing and modifying internal parameters.
