Carbon Dioxide Storage Tank


1 Overview


The low-temperature liquid carbon dioxide storage tank is a double-walled container consisting of an inner and an outer vessel. It features vacuum powder insulation and is available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. The inner vessel is made of 16MnDR material, while the outer vessel material can be selected as Q235-B or 16MnR, depending on the user's location. The space between the inner and outer vessels is filled with insulating material, pearl sand, and then evacuated. (Available in vertical and horizontal types)

3 Insulation Performance


Insulation materials are filled with pearlescent sand under heat conditions, with vacuum applied. After the sandwich is sealed, the standard vacuum level is:


Effective Volume: ≤ 10m³ with vacuum ≤ 2Pa, > 10m³ ≤ 50m³ with vacuum ≤ 3Pa, > 50m³ ≤ 100m³ with vacuum ≤ 5Pa. Achieved through exquisite technology, unique filling process, and quality assurance promise, for the best thermal insulation effect.


4 Security Technical Features


The low-temperature liquid carbon dioxide storage tank utilizes a "combined, safety system valve" that employs two safety valves working simultaneously. During regular safety valve inspections, one side can be closed while the other continues to operate, ensuring the safe operation of the tank.


5 Operating Systems


The tank container is equipped with a pressure gauge, differential pressure level gauge, and a level reference chart at the top, allowing for real-time monitoring of the stored volume and pressure changes, facilitating operations during filling and draining.


6 Inspection System


The bottom of the tank is equipped with a dedicated vacuum detection system for the tank, including vacuum gauges and valves. These can be periodically or immediately checked with a vacuum gauge to ensure the interlayer vacuum level, guaranteeing the safe operation of the tank.

Liquid Oxygen Storage Tank


Overview


This series of low-temperature storage tanks are double-layer fixed vacuum powder-insulated storage tanks (vessels). The inner tank is made of stainless steel (with 16MnDR for CO2 storage tanks), and the outer tank is made of Q235B or 16MnR. The surface anti-corrosion coating is applied through shot blasting, sweeping, and spraying processes, along with a two-component rapid curing liquid paint.


Application Scope and Features


Primarily used for low-temperature liquid storage of gases such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, and carbon dioxide. One cubic meter of liquid can replace 130 gas cylinders. It can replace daily transportation of gas cylinders, saving a great deal of human and material resources. Widely used by users with high gas consumption in industries such as gases, hospitals, and metal smelting, it is the best product for centralized gas supply. It features a long service life, compact structure, minimal land area, centralized control, and easy operation.

2. Cautionary Notes


1. Cylinders must be stored in well-ventilated areas, with a distance of not less than 1.5 meters from any fire or heat source. Cylinders are strictly prohibited from being heated with fire, boiled, or exposed to direct sunlight. Regular checks should be conducted on the gas tightness of cylinder valves and pipeline joints, ensuring no leakage. Leaks can be detected using soap water, and it is strictly forbidden to test for leaks with an open flame.


2. When lighting, ignite the primer first, followed by opening the gas; do not reverse the sequence. There should be someone supervising during use; do not leave it unattended to prevent boiling water from spilling and extinguishing the flame, which could cause the liquefied gas to escape and lead to an explosion. After using the gas cylinder, make sure to close the valve tightly to prevent gas leakage.


3. Do not empty the liquefied gas inside the cylinder completely; leave a certain residual pressure. The residual pressure should generally be greater than 49.03 kPa (i.e., 0.5 kg/cm2, gauge pressure) to prevent air from entering the gas cylinder. After the liquefied petroleum gas is used up, the remaining residue inside the cylinder is also a flammable substance and must not be poured out自行. This is to prevent fires from occurring due to the flow and evaporation of the residue.


4. LPG cylinders are pressurized containers that require proper maintenance and regular inspections. Prevent them from falling or being struck during handling and use. Do not use metal tools to strike the valve for opening. Protect them from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to rain. Typically, cylinders should be inspected every 2 years.


5. Although the explosive range of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is not very wide, its lower explosive limit is small, making it easy to ignite and explode upon leakage. Additionally, as LPG is heavier than air, it tends to flow downward upon leakage, accumulating in low-lying areas and posing a hidden danger of gas explosions. Therefore, it is essential to ensure proper ventilation, not just rely on window ventilation in areas where gas leakage is prone.


6. Upon discovering a liquefied gas leak indoors, promptly open windows and doors for ventilation, allowing it to dissipate away from any open flame. No fire is allowed in the vicinity. Use the product only after the fault is resolved and the distinctive odor has dissipated. Dispose of any leaked liquid on the ground by covering it with sand and soil before removing it to a safe location. In case of a gas cylinder fire, immediately close the valve, move it to an open area outdoors, and extinguish the fire using dry powder extinguishers, carbon dioxide extinguishers, or by covering it with a wet sack.


7. Educate children not to play with gas cylinders carelessly, and users must understand the safety knowledge of using gas cylinders.
